This Intergalactic traveler knows SHE is set apart from other beings...
A Dignified extrovert by the name of Jayne was a deeply decorated leader in the densely populated "Total-System". As a regional leader she has become admired by all throughout the Quadz by how she spent her free time teaching and coaching life.
Jayne cared but grew weary. Fatigued, Jayne planned an escapade for two days straight. Starving by saving rations, while hiding her liquid passions, and storing all that she needed beneath and inside her mansion. For later. At night she read undetected knowing they've been tracing her every move for years. Ancient texts from the Galaxy she resided in were stacked like bricks from her shoe closet to her room balcony for safe peregrination.  Jayne pondered heavily those two nights, making whole wholehearted choices of where and what life can be like living apart from the others by her definition of where she stands personally in that system regardless of her active achievements and responsibilities. Was it given to her or was it earned...
escapade
Nearly a third of her daily routine required a lot of moving. This mobility required patients. Jayne also grew annoyed from all of the back-and-forth boarding. Besides weariness, fatigue, and rationally abstaining from nourishment; the young leader suffered migraines from her current state of mind, and no stress relievers were allowed at all due to her tier rank.Onboarding and deboarding, up, down, here, there, when and where?

" The QuadruPlats "
[A Planet System with 50 billion Square Miles of rock, gas, and ice, consisting of trillions of beautiful souls.]

The Living Sphere: Ahshaleah, the tiniest of them all is a one ringed planet with a constitution of highly equitable standards whose atmosphere blended with the precious hues of the larger celestial bodies, blessing the inhabitants with enchanting dusks, aethereal Twilight'd nights, and glittery opalescent dawns.  Quite social, but only in the minds; yet filled with beauty, but only by the eyes.
The Ethical Sphere: Taoahoroa, a celestial body whose days and nights come quickly, not typically by our world's understanding. Taoahoroa is not habitable for daily life, and only the elite can stand a chance of the eight rotations based on Ahshaleah's day cycle.  Much pressure was bestowed upon all during season changes; thus, agricultural harvesting and technological maintenance was the way. ristine and revered many of the inhabitants including Jayne earned their rank there and lived by doing what needed to be done for the greater good of the idiosyncratic "Total-Society".
The N'nono Fog: Kriteryon, a gaseous ringed beauty with hypnotic swirls, where the beings of mischievous and malevolent ways go, suspended alone safely in the clouds from it all to cry, vent, and heal properly with therapeutical attention temporarily, and major support years after.  Jayne had been there and had not returned ever, mysteriously but true.
Designation Zones: where a few of the balanced moons & planetoids linger, entertainment exists. There was no fun of the flesh or the mind unless you were there. There was there. They thought here was where; until it was time to board, then here was a long and sorrow-filled stare, as new glares in line of sight, with cheerful stares, made the shrinking fun, chillingly bare. Densely populated, yet cognitively isolated in a shuttle chair.
[Sooo, to conclude "where"...]
The QuadruPlats are all planets with populated planetoids, and moons. They orbit a star.  That leaves Scinobi-the-Grand; a remarkable colossus. A solid amethyst-colored chevron-patterned crystal, that ever reflects their star, fairly radiating the planetary cluster.  All revolve around Her, as she dances around the star. Quite stagnant, familiar, similar.

She became so sick yet frustrated and knew she would eventually disassociate from reality.  Returning to Kriteryon wasn't a thought or repercussion that she was willing the bear based on the long road to success she endured after that departure, thus, she angelically made her move.  Walking towards phase one of the unconstrained plot, Jayne acquired what she test-cycled four times within those two days, a well-fueled maintenance Plasmashuttle "unauthorized", absquatulating from her home worlds purposefully, due to her need for a retreat.  Instantly, she finally had what she craved, spontaneous adventure. Luckily no soul was onboard as she ultra clutched and blasted off into that Galaxy solo-dolo.

The Cockpit
COCKPIT

...Whilst traveling, Jayne reached an area of dark matter and shivered with overjoy. Excited she was and flipped one of the switches to the solar panels of the Plasmashuttle opening its shutters. She did a lot during the test-cycles.  Jayne tweaked the panels to trap elemental particles to create clean energy.  The metal-like gill panels worked by filtering usable and unusable matter from the very fabric of space.  She also welded compartments and professionally fastened Neodymium magnets with alternating currents to control its properties. She used dark matter to create boost & solar atomic energy for propulsion, chemically. Once refined and cooked with precious metals the new element added to the fuel system allows up to 18 hours of boost and thrust per plasma-shot. With all electrical equipment operating at 94% and above as well as collecting and storing elements from the dust clouds that surrounded her, she knew she wouldn't be stranded any time soon.
With earned time to burn, she toasted to herself, her life and accomplishments; ring drifted for fun through nebulas and around blackholes, geekily blazing through the cosmos.
With the aid of her passions Jayne was chill, warm and comfortable all at the same time and often thought about her past...

[Didnt miss a thing...]
Hours later while eagerly navigating through an asteroid cluster, she fastened her breastplate and geared up for a rough ride. The shuttle took a lot of hits however the force field generated from the harvest of matter held its own. Jayne enjoyed it. She in fact enjoyed it so much she did a 35° drift and reentered the asteroid ocean in a completely different direction... Once breaking through the cluster again, Jayne caught a glimpse of something more mesmerizing and spectacular then the glimmers of deep space, a new and glowing planetary system so radiant and alive. Had she not double dipped in spontaneousness, she may have missed it. Jayne quickly checked her data to confirm the sighting. The data proved accuracy; thus she knew this was a great spot to do and pit stop and check all equipment...  She wasn't worried because of her career back in the Quadz.
Deciding to get some burnout rest Jayne set her Plasmashuttle to automatic thrust as well as matterr conversion. She had more than enough room in the shuttle to set up a bask spot. Using unneeded material and shuttle accessories Jayne disassembled seat cushions and stitched fabrics creating a quilt like sleeping bag with pillow. She laid bare and finally closed her eyes in near silence with neon lighting, ambient music and twinkling stars. For a brief moment of tranquility, she wondered what endeavors she would explore.
" Disturbances "
Dosing off Jayne was chill, warm and comfortable again; yet cozy in her REM stage of sleep. All of the sudden, Jayne heard something right outside of the fuselage chamber. Quite peculiar it differed from the celestial sensory repairing melodies and different of the from the soft vibrations of the Plasmashuttle. She overruled her efforts to investigate knowing her equipment. Bundled up in her sleeping sac; the Galactic Traveler found herself quite aggravated once again by the awkward disturbance.
Close to anger, staring at the ceiling with deadpan eyes, Jayne realized that the sounds weren't melodic or mechanical and swiftly got up to investigate the eerie sounds.
Her physique, posture, and flexibility all came from her rise the position she held at The Quadz, and with its stressors bred a vicious subconscious and a high tolerance to EMOtion that her admirers fanaticized about. Suddenly she noticed she may not be alone & that she may have been made,
jeopardizing all that she planned: peace & rest.
-Jayne rigged the Plasmashuttle with her innovative devices in the two days of planning. Devices she manufactured only to her knowledge in her beautiful mansion downstairs in her tech savy basement laboratory, on her home time.

[Shes sooo Mysterius...]
Thus, rushing to the colorful dash of the cockpit to smash the ALERT nob-switch; the Plasmashuttle then transformed into a war machine inside and out, geared for utter vega-destruction. Jayne went str8 commando and her cephalic-beast instincts kicked in... The octagonal nob shut everything off briefly, the lights changed to a faint strob; illuminating pastel apricotic hues while everything dimmed silent like a symphonic finale. All that could be heard was a vagally deep pulsating hum. All together Jayne crept slowly searching for evidence like a bat during a blood moon.
Jayne - BansheeMode.jpg
Vibrating vigorously Jayne foresaw the end of her peaceful escapade and knew that, out there, to have to be rescued would bring so much disappointment to her prestigious legend, thus, she prepared to execute and go into survival mode. Being tough was a specie norm. Swaying as she lurked, crept to be unseen; the galactic traveler roamed the Plasmashuttle. As she approach the fuselage she notice disorientation in many of the supplies as well as an open vent. She eased up in confusion thinking to herself perhaps in her fun through the thick asteroid cluster she may have nudged a meteoroid. Shaking her head while smirking, she glanced at the cockpit dash, noticing the distance that has occurred towards the glowing planetary system. Fixing her neck towards the fuselage, Jayne was wise enough to know that a clean room is a happy room. And as she is currently may be where she may be later, vigilant and alert. However, something was still off.  Jayne's ears began to twitch. Shuffled fluttering sounds arouse from the opened vent. "Base-chamber of ship", she whispered, fore she was fluent in Plasmashuttle schematics and designs. Thus, she continued toward the rear.  After forty paces Jayne began to descend to the lower levels. Jayne prepared herself for whateverr was coming her way. Step after step to the lower chamber, the rebel began to lather with bioluminescent perspiration blinking her glimmering eyelids to wipe her beautiful opalescent eyes.  Jayne halted in caution...
With her hands on the stair rail, she realized even more out of place items.  Jayne was very organized.  Although dim she knew the Plasmashuttle with or without lights, however, lights sparkled from everywhere due to the proximity of the new and glowing planetary system as well as internal lights.  Focused on her safety she barely considered its beauty, because of survival. HER ears moved back and forth to amplify sound, tasting the musky air for vibrations. Squinting her swollen eyes, she saw something that totally changed everything...

GURL

" Interrogation "

Jayne froze on the final step, her bioluminescent sweat catching the apricotic strobe like blood‑bright sparks on metal. Below her stood the gurl — small, wiry, trembling — but her eyes were wrong. Too steady. Too hungry. The kind of stare born in alleys where hope dies young and only obsession survives. She swallowed, straightened, and wiped grime from her cheek with the back of her hand. Even caked in filth, she carried herself with a stubborn, almost regal defiance — chin lifted, shoulders squared, like someone who’d practiced dignity in a cracked mirror under flickering dock lights.

Jayne’s instincts hissed threat, but something in the gurl’s posture whispered something far more dangerous: recognition. Awe. Devotion sharpened into a blade.

“Don’t move,” Jayne said, voice low enough to cut steel. The gurl didn’t even blink. “I know who you are,” she breathed. “That’s unfortunate for you.” “No… it’s everything. I’ve been watchin’ you since I was little. Since before I knew what freedom meant. You’re Jayne of The Quadz. Jayne the Breakaway. Jayne the one who made it out.”

Jayne felt her pulse hitch. Not fear. Worship.

“My name’s Gurl,” she said, stepping forward just enough to be seen. “I ain’t here to hurt you. I just… needed to see what real looks like.”

A stowaway. A kid. A ghost in her vents. Someone who had breathed her recycled air, memorized her ship’s heartbeat, and slipped past every defense Jayne trusted. Yet Jayne saw no malice — only grit, hunger, and a reflection of the girl she once was.

“Why my ship,” Jayne asked, voice still edged. “Because you’re the only one worth followin’. And because if you were runnin’… maybe I could learn how.”

Jayne descended the last step with the slow, predatory grace of someone who’d survived too much to be surprised anymore. The strobe carved her silhouette into something mythic. Gurl straightened instinctively, like her bones remembered stories her mind never lived.

“Start talking,” Jayne said. “How long have you been on my ship.” “Two days. Maybe two and a half. Vent grid on Dock 7. The busted seal.” Jayne’s jaw tightened. Her mistake. The kid’s doorway. “And why would a dock rat risk their life hiding on my Plasmashuttle.” “Because I ain’t rotting in the Rings like everyone else.” “You know I could eject you. No suit. No tether.” “I figured.” “And you still came.” “Yeah.”

Jayne circled her like a shadow with teeth. “Are you armed.” “Wrench. Vibro‑pick. Small blade.” “Small.” “Depends who’s holdin’ it.” What do you want from me.” “To learn. To get out. To be more than what the Quaz said I’d be. You did it. I thought maybe… maybe I could too.”

Jayne studied her — the stress, the stubbornness, the fire, the appearance of last resort. “You’re reckless. Undisciplined. Underfed. Undertrained. And you compromised my ship.” “I know.” “But you’re not lying. And you’re not stupid.”

Jayne leaned in, voice deepened like a silverback. “One more question. Answser wrong, and I drop you at the nearest planetoid with a modular beacon.

Did anyone send you.” “No. Nobody owns me.”

“Good. Because if they had… you wouldn’t still be breathing.”

Before Jayne could push further, the Plasmashuttle shuddered

— a deep, bone‑low vibration that made the lights flicker like dying stars. The hull groaned as if something massive dragged its nails across the metal.

“That wasn’t internal,” Jayne muttered. “No… that came from outside.”

A low hum built — not mechanical, not natural. Something alive. Something hungry.

Jayne slammed her palm onto the console. Static bled across the screen. “Gravitic distortion,” she growled. “Something’s pulling on the shuttle.” “We’re being dragged,” Gurl said, gripping a railing. “Too close to the system. Something’s generating a field.” “A magnetar bloom?” Jayne froze. “How do you know that.”

“I listen. Space talks if you let it.”

The shuttle lurched violently. Panels sparked. A siren wailed like a dying animal. “Move,” Jayne snapped. “Now.”

They sprinted to the cockpit. Jayne fought the controls. Gurl hovered behind her, eyes darting. “Your ion thrusters are misfiring. The field’s scrambling polarity.” “I know.” “No — look. Negative ions are spiking. Fire now and you’ll rip the stabilizers clean off.”

Jayne checked. Gurl was right.

“How did you see that before I did.” “Ships talk too. I know what they sound like when they’re not happy.”

Jayne stared at her — really stared — and something shifted. This wasn’t a dock rat. This wasn’t a kid. This was a feral genius carved by survival.

“Fine. Tell me what to do.” “Reroute the thrusters through the auxiliary ion chamber. It’s invert polarity long enough to break the pull.”

Reckless. But Brilliant, Jayne calculated...

Jayne executed the command.

The shuttle snapped free like a beast tearing loose from a trap. Silence fell heavy.

“You just saved my ship,” Jayne said. “You would’ve figured it out.” Gurl uttered “Not in time.” Jayne reassures.

Jayne stepped closer, shadows cutting across her face. “You bypassed my systems. You compromised my shuttle. You nearly got yourself killed.” “I know.” Gurl admitted with a sigh “But you also kept us alive.” Jayne mystical discerned.

Hope flickered in Gurl’s eyes like a firefly dancing gracefully by a dusky meadow.

“YOU WANT TO STAY ON MY PLASMASHUTTLES!?

Earn your place? Gurl blinked and nodded in confirmation.

Then you fix every system you touched. Every vent. Every sensor. Every grid.” “I can do that.” Gurl nervously said to retain herself.  “And you do it under my eyes. No shortcuts. No stunts. No disappearing into vents.” “No promises on the vents.” Gurl punned

Jayne extended a hand — not warm, not gentle, but real.

“Welcome aboard… Gurl.”

Gurl stared at the hand like it was a star she never believed she’d reach. Then she took it. And HER universe shifted.
